MESSAGES: Initiate & Respond

NOTE that Messaging is currently company-to-company based, where all messages to and from one company to another will be visible to all users within both companies. B1 LINK is in the process of adding user-to-user functionality to the Messaging App, allowing for more personalized interactions.

• New messages are initiated to other companies from the available actions dropdown.  This will generate a new message box for you to begin your communication.
• Subject to your package and user rights, you can select multiple recipients to message from the left hand Available Actions option.
• Attachments can be added to your messages, using the paperclip icon at the bottom of the message window.
• The system will then message each company individually.
• Please respect your connections privacy, and ensure that your communications are professional and appropriate, and in line with the Platforms Terms and Conditions which you accepted when registering.
• From the Virtual Marketplace > Messaging menu, you can view and respond to your messages.
• Subject to your package and user rights, you can select multiple supplier records and bulk message to your suppliers.  
  • From the Virtual Marketplace > Find Companies menu, a user can select multiple companies, select the available actions dropdown at the top of the table, and bulk message the selected companies together.
