FIND COMPANIES: Search the Directory

• From the Virtual Marketplace > Find Companies, you can conduct targeted sourcing, applying advanced filters subject to your subscription package.
• “Search by company name, products or services” will search the Business Directory and return results based on the search criteria used in the search.  Companies can be found against their company name and other company details such as registration or vat numbers.  The search is expanded to look through companies trade descriptions and products/services descriptions marketed during the registration process.  Additional advanced filters are also available for targeted sourcing or can be used to narrow down search results, such as limiting the results to a Province, or searching by BEE classification for example.  
• Users need to capture at least three characters in the search bar, or select at least one filter from the advanced search filters to get the page to return results for the user.
• Results are returned in a tabular format which can be further sorted to view only your existing suppliers or potential suppliers if you are looking for new suppliers to onboard.   From these results, you can also filter further by highest rated, oldest, newest suppliers etc.
• From the resulting search, through the "Available Actions" and "View More" functions, you are able to view company profile information, company B-BBEE information, compliance status, send the company a message, rate a company or initiate onboarding.
• Buyers can can hover over the company name to view the the suppliers company description and/or product offerings.  
• Multi-select suppliers allows the user to 
  • Initiate an eRFx to those suppliers
  • Send bulk messaging
  • Download your "existing" list of suppliers via CVS download (B2B, Corporate)
